The latest happenings

Thursday 17th July 2008

Good things are coming. I'm writing and recording and considering. Odd sentence, but I stand by it. I'm hoping the next single will be out before September, and I am also negotiating some potential deals in various places. Stay with me, as I love each and every person who reads this from the bottom of my giant heart. It's an illness. I look forward to seeing you at the gigs. I might put a blog page on here soon as my ramblings are taking over the news page.

Sunday 6th July 2008

The tour is over for now. There are a couple of extra gigs on the horizon, but it is time to think about heading back to the studio to record the b-side for the next single. Things went very well. From playing to nobody on some nights, to everybody on others, I can't complain. As ever, the best gigs were the ones when only the other bands were listening. And some of the other bands were very nice people, as were some of the promoters. Jim from The Decors was lovely and said very nice things. Linda and Ian Rowe (who run Togfest) were extraordinarily helpful. I truly appreciate the effort that any genuine music loving promoter puts in to make fantastic things happen. I'll keep you all in the loop.

Monday 2nd June 2008

More gigs have been added to the schedule. It's festival season, so there are negotiations going on at the moment, as well as the touring list being expanded. Thanks to all for the support, and I hope to continue seeing many of you at the gigs.

We've done a limited deal with our friends, the fantastic Pop Sweatshop label in The States. 'Say Anything' is part of their singles club and available from their site. Go and give it a listen at Pop Sweatshop

Thursday 1st May 2008

Played a great gig at The Grey Horse in Kingston the other night. It was nice to see some familiar faces. I will be playing there again at some point in the future, but in the interim you can check the the gigs page for the many other performances happening. No doubt it will continue to grow. The first interest is coming in from American. Two labels have registered a serious interest, with others popping by to see what the latest is. I'll keep you in the loop.

Featherhead can now be purchased on iTunes in the UK and Ireland. For those who prefer digital downloads to physical CDs, this is ideal for you! So go and buy it and leave a lovely review for all to see. Spread the word and you will be my friend for as long as you wish.

Wednesday 5th March 2008

The album is now available on the site. Go to the store and buy as many copies as you can possibly afford. Postage is free in the UK, £2 overseas. Also the links section now allows you to buy Say Anything & Believer from iTunes. The site is still a work in progress.

Thursday 22nd Feb 2008

After a successful gig at the BBC bar, I've been rehearsing. Primarily to get some old material finished ready for release. I'll keep you informed about any possible release dates.

If you're desperate for something, don't forget that you can buy Say Anything and Believer on iTunes (if you're in the UK, Ireland, or Sweden).
